Kolohite Island
Located only 5 minutes from the resort, spend the day on your own uninhabited island. We provide the picnic mat, snorkelling gear and can organise a packed lunch and refreshments.
Duration: half to full day dependent on your wishes.
World War II Tours
The Solomon Islands played host to some of the fiercest battles of WWII and many remnants of that era still exist today. Close by you can see, amongst other things, a fully intact US Tank, Japanese bunker systems, an underground clinic, 140mm shore battery guns and a sunken Japanese freighter.
Skull Island Warrior Chief Shrine
For those interested in local history take a trip to nearby Skull Island to visit the shrine of the local warrior chiefs and get a taste of the unique head hunting past of the area.
Rainforest river trip
Take a boat ride to one of the nearby tidal rivers that run through lowland rainforest and experience, firsthand, this unique environment home to rare freshwater fish, exotic tropical birds and saltwater crocodiles.
Vona Vona Excursion
Tour the beautiful and complex passages through the unspoiled Mangrove edged Island Lagoon system. Visit Skull Island and a Basket Weavers Village. A 3 hour boat ride through the stunning Vona Vona Lagoon to the Blackett Straits and return.
Mantaray Island trip
A full day on a stunningly beautiful deserted island with picnic lunch, world class snorkelling, and fishing expeditions all included. We can also include a visit to nearby resorts for lunch or a cold drink.
